In a swift inter-state operation, one of the main accused in the multi-crore scam of Shine City Group, Rajiv Singh, was arrested from Jaipur. He was wanted in Shine City scam's multiple cases that are registered in Varanasi.
Rajiv Singh is originally a resident of Kaimur in Bihar. He is allegedly one of the kingpins of the Rs 287 crore Shine City scam which took away hard-earned money of hundreds of citizens.

Two years ago, former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina warned of an alleged plot by a 'white man' to establish a Christian state. In 2025, the Mizoram CM said Ukraine war veterans were using the state to enter Myanmar. The arrest of 7 foreign nationals by the NIA has prompted experts to suggest that the incidents might be connected.
