The online purchase of the Ola electric scooters is now closed, and will re-open on November 1, 2021, just in time for Diwali.
After facing technical issues with the website on its initial day of opening the online purchase of flagship Ola electric scooters, the Indian company announced registering pre-bookings of more than Rs 1,100 crore on the first two days for the Ola S1 electric scooter and Ola S1 Pro electric scooter in India. On day 1, Ola Electric clocked around Rs 600 crore, while the second day of the online purchase registered bookings worth Rs 500 crore, with the highest registrations coming in for the top-spec Ola S1 Pro electric scooter. Other electronics consist of proximity lock/unlock, remote boot lock/unlock, onboard navigation, geo-fencing, mobile phone call & message alerts, and an anti-theft alarm system.
