Odisha: Tehsildar, 4 ex-revenue inspectors arrested by vigilance dept in Vasundhara land scam case

The Odisha Police vigilance department on Monday arrested a Tehsildar and four ex-Revenue Inspectors (RIs) for their alleged involvement in allotting government land to ineligible beneficiaries under the Vasundhara scheme.

The vigilance department of Odisha Police on Monday arrested a Tehsildar and four former Revenue Inspectors (RIs) in connection with a major land fraud probe. The arrest comes following simultaneous raids conducted on premises belonging to six retired government officials in different parts of the state in connection with their alleged involvement in alloting government land to ineligible beneficiaries under the Vasundhara scheme.
