Odisha Assembly on Thursday passed a condolence motion to pay tribute to CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others who died in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.
Odisha Legislative Assembly on Thursday passed a condolence motion to pay tribute to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and 11 armed forces personnel who died in a chopper crash in Tamil Nadu's Coonoor.
The condolence motion was moved by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik as soon as the House assembled to transact its business.

As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
