NSTSE Result 2022: A 17-year-old Sara Kukreja from Delhi has secured International Rank 1 in the National- level Science Talent Search Examination. Here's what she has to say about this success.
Sara Kukreja, a 17-year-old from Delhi has secured AIR 1 in the NSTSE (National-level Science Talent Search Examination) 2022 examination, by scoring 54 out of 60. With this, she not only made her parents and teachers proud but proved that with the help of dedication and hard work, there is nothing that we can't achieve. She has also bagged AIR 2 in the prestigious National Science Olympiad (NSO).
NSTSE is a diagnostic test to assess scholastic skills in Mathematics and Science. The test includes subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, critical thinking, and general science. Over a crore students have appeared in this exam.
During an interaction with India Today, Sara says, "I was preparing for the examinations from Class 11 and in the year 2021, I gave my first attempt for National-level Science Talent Search Examinations and secured rank 25, which was not a bad rank but I was not satisfied with it as I wanted to do better."
She further adds, "As my parents and teachers always motivated me a lot so that I could do better, by keeping their motivation high, I challenged myself to secure Rank 1 in the National-level Science Talent Search Examination."
"With full dedication and long hours of studying, and a lot of practice, I again appeared for the NSTSE examination this year 2022 and secured AIR 1. I also bagged the second all-India rank in the National Science Olympiad 2022.
It was her keen interest in science from Class 11 onwards that inspired the teenager to secure success in both NSTSE and NSO.
Sara is a student of Class 12 from the Science (medical) stream, who will appear for the board examinations in 2022. She took coaching from Aakash+BYJU, Janakpuri for the preparation of these examinations and wants to become a doctor in the near future.
