Non-bailable warrant issued against former Mumbai top cop Param Bir Singh in extortion case

A court in Maharashtra’s Thane issued a non-bailable warrant against IPS officer and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh on Thursday in connection with an alleged extortion case.

Chief Judicial Magistrate RJ Tamble had issued the non-bailable warrant two days ago to Thane Nagar police station, where the alleged extortion case is registered. The order became available on Thursday.
