Nokia G21 renders, Instagram video show a completely redesigned triple camera setup
India Today
Nokia G21 is expected to make its debut in India soon and as near its launch, more glimpses of the phone are being seen on the internet every day. Here is a look at what's in store for the Nokia G-series.
Nokia G21 has started surfacing on the internet ahead of its expected launch in India. New renders of the device, as well as a short video on Instagram now provide us with early looks a the upcoming Nokia phone. The renders reveal several highlights of the device, including its camera module, rear panel finish, as well as colour options. The one takeaway, the Nokia G21 certainly has unique elements in several aspects of its design.
In January, Nokia was found to be working on the successor to the Nokia G20, which went on sale in India last year. To be called the Nokia G21, the phone was spotted on the Geekbench website hinting at an imminent launch. While successive reports shared its possible specifications, the common understanding is that HMD will launch the Nokia G21 in India this month.
A new Instagram video shows the Nokia G21 from the front and the back, while new render images of the phone have also been shared by Roland Quandt on Twitter. Both the sources show a different design from what we saw on the Nokia G20. Most notably, the circular camera module at the back has been replaced with a more conventional, rectangular-shaped camera setup. It now also houses one less lens than the quad-camera setup on the G20.
The striped finish on the rear panel has also been changed to ridges going in arcs, from one shoulder of the phone to another. At the front, things mostly remain the same with the waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The frame is now visibly thicker though.
The renders also show the placement of the buttons on the phone. The power button is placed on the left, while the volume rockers take the right edge. Right below them is a fingerprint sensor neatly carved from the frame to make space. We can't really see the chin of the Nokia G21 in its renders though we can expect to see a USB Type-C port there.
Prior to the renders, reports had hinted at what the Nokia phone may come with. As per these, it is likely to feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 700 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It may be powered by UniSoc’s T606 chipset and carry 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. MicroSD card support is also expected.
The new camera module on the Nokia G21 is likely to house a 50-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors. At the front, we may see a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The Nokia G21 is expected to be backed by a 5050mAh battery with fast charging support.

Samsung has been teasing its upcoming A-series devices since last week, without officially revealing their names. While speculation has largely pointed to the Galaxy A37 and A57, a lengthy video recently surfaced ahead of any official confirmation, revealing the key specs and pricing of the devices.

Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
