'Nobody more foolish if we hold board exams in Covid-19 third wave': Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia
India Today
Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia spoke to India Today TV and said that there would be no one more foolish than us if despite knowing the dangers, we go ahead with board exams at the brink of the Covid-19 third wave which can affect children the most. Here are his suggestions.
The CBSE board exam 2021 will likely be held between July 15 and August 26 amidst all Covid-19 safety protocols and the details and format would be announced by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on June 1. Delhi Deputy CM and Education Minister Manish Sisodia is amongst those completely against conducting the board exams amidst the pandemic. A high-level meeting was held on Sunday with the education ministers of all the states to discuss the possibility of the CBSE, CISCE, states board exams and other entrance exams in light of the second wave of Covid-19. CBSE has proposed two options for the board exams either set exams for the main 19 subjects only and at notified exam centres, or hold 90-minute exams for all subjects at the home schools of students.
Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
