
No link with prostitution: HC stays ban on cross-gender massage services in Delhi

Observing that there is no “reasonable connection” between complete ban on massage parlours and prevention of prostitution, the Delhi High Court stayed the prohibition on cross-gender massage services in the city.
The Delhi High Court on Thursday stayed the Delhi government's ban on cross-gender massage services in private spas and wellness centers operating in the national capital.
The court observed that there is no “reasonable connection” between the complete ban on massage parlours and prevention of prostitution.
