Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said the state could not have a greater gift than the arrival of eight cheetahs from Namibia.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan on Saturday said there is no greater gift for the state as eight cheetahs arrived from Namibia on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.

Shivraj Chouhan called the cheetah’s arrival “historic” and said their presence will boost tourism in the state, especially in the Kuno-Palpur region. "The cheetahs will be a blessing for this region," he added.
The introduction of the fastest land animal in India is being done under Project Cheetah, which is the world's first inter-continental large wild carnivore translocation project, said a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Thursday.
