The four employees of an event management firm who were arrested in the Mumbai drug bust case told a special court that they were solely responsible for organising live shows on the cruise and had nothing to do with security or entry there.
The four employees of an event management firm arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs case told the special court under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act that their role was limited to planning live entertainment shows and that they had nothing to do with security, entry, ticketing or allotment of rooms to passengers.
The Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested the four event organisers -- Gopal Jee Anand, Samir Sehgal, Manav Singhal and Bhaskar Arora -- on October 5 in connection with the raids of the Mumbai cruise ship that took place on October 2.
