The Department of Information Technology, National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NIT-K), Surathkal, has decided to start a new four-year B.Tech. course in Artificial Intelligence from the academic year 2021-22. The Academic Senate, Board of the institute and the Union Ministry of Education have approved the course. Admissions will be through JEE (Main) score.A crowd comprising farmers, researchers, professors, students, and horticulture enthusiasts thronged the ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Hesaraghatta, Bengaluru, on Friday for the inaugural ceremony of the Triphal Diversity Show which showcased 300 mango, 100 jackfruit, and 100 banana genotypes in collaboration with ICAR-National Research Centre for Banana, Tiruchirappalli.
