Nicole Curtis said she knows "who I am" after she was fired from HGTV last month for saying a racial slur.
On March 10, the former "Rehab Addict" host appeared on the morning radio show "The Breakfast Club," where she addressed using the slur and said it was unintentional.
"I know that I don't use that word. I don't use that word. Why? I'm white," Curtis said.
The hosts of the show — Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious and Loren LoRosa — pushed back on some of the points Curtis raised about her background.
"What are you trying to prove here when you keep saying you're from Detroit and you're around rappers and your best friends are Black?" Charlamagne Tha God asked Curtis.
