Melissa Rivers' hilarious reaction to clean-shaven Pedro Pascal: ‘Who is that?’

Bedazzled gowns, peplum skirts and meaningful brooches caught our eye at the 98th annual Academy Awards last night, but one face stood out in particular – a surprisingly clean-shaven Pedro Pascal. 

Pascal, who announced the award for best production design with his “Mandalorian and Grogu” co-star Sigourney Weaver, wore custom white Chanel with a large flowered brooch. He ditched his signature mustache and stubble for a clean face with glasses.

When we asked former “Fashion Police” host Melissa Rivers about her Oscars red carpet hot takes, she gave Pascal a nod for successfully pulling off the “major fashion risk” in Chanel. But like many others, she did a double-take at the fresh shave. 

“I was like ‘Who is that?’” Rivers says, laughing.

The clean-shaven look is overshadowing Pascal’s actual red carpet outfit, and “it’s getting very mixed reviews,” Rivers says. Time will tell if the look is here to stay.
