LOS ANGELES – There aren't too many people on the planet who could've imagined what it was like to be in Conan O'Brien's shoes on Sunday night as he hosted the 98th Academy Awards.

The comedian, 41, told USA TODAY at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party red carpet that a group chat she has with her team of writers and producers was firing on all cylinders throughout Sunday night's broadcast. "Whoa, that was so good," "Oh my God, they get permission to do that?" and "I wonder how they made that work?" were just a few of the texts sent in the group chat, according to Glaser.
