NIA arrests absconding fake currency notes trafficker in WB’s Malda

In a joint operation with the BSF, the National Investigation Agency arrested a notorious absconding smuggler, Aladu alias Matahur from Malda, West Bengal.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested an absconding person who was allegedly involved in a case of smuggling fake Indian currency notes (FICN) from Bangladesh, an official said on Sunday.

The trafficker was arrested from West Bengal’s Malda.
