
New vocational skill training centre launched by Jharkhand CM

A new vocational skill training centre was launched by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on International Women's Day.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a vocational skill training centre under the Tejaswini project in Dhanbad virtually on Tuesday.
The objective of the Tejaswini Project is the completion of market-driven skills training and secondary education for adolescent and young women within the age group of 14-24 years of age across 17 districts. The Jharkhand Chief Minister went on to inform that work is being done to empower women via various schemes.
Continuing, the chief minister added, "The government is ready to extend all possible support to them. Women in rural areas need special attention and we have to reach them."
Nutan Devi, the anganwadi worker of Dumka, and Rita Shri Parya of West Singhbhum were also honoured by the chief minister for their exceptional work in the nutrition campaign.
Similarly, Amola Baski and Jaya Biruli were also felicitated and received certificates and citations for their commendable work during Covid-19.
The Setu education curriculum was also released by the chief minister along with Women, Child Development and Social Security Minister Joba Manjhi.Out-of-school girls in the 14-20 age bracket from 17 districts will be connected to classes 8-10 through this project, even if they are away from school.
Aadhar kits were also distributed to rural women by the Jharkhand CM so that they can avail the benefits of various schemes.
