IIT Guwahati is launching a new Master's programme in Liberal Arts that will be offered by its Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.
A Master's programme in Liberal Arts has been launched by the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. The new programme is going to be offered by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of IIT Guwahati and will commence from the academic year 2022-2023. The first class of 30 students will be admitted in July 2022, depending on particular admission standards that will be released soon.
The programme aims to provide cross-disciplinary and multidisciplinary training to students while honing their ability to think critically and creatively about social, political, and aesthetic issues that concern our world today aligning with the NEP2020.
