Neetu Kapoor, in a recent media interaction, said that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are made for each other. She also said that she hopes their wedding happens soon.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding is the talk of the town right now, and we are all rooting for the slightest update. The couple will tie the knot on April 14 and we can't wait to see them as a married couple now. Ahead of the grand Bollywood shaadi, Neetu Kapoor spoke about her equation with Alia Bhatt. She also said that her son, Ranbir and Alia are made for each other.

Neetu Kapoor is all geared up for her son, Ranbir Kapoor's wedding with Alia Bhatt. In a conversation with The Times Of India, she opened up about the couple's marriage and their equation with each other. She said, "I hope ho jaaye. Mujhe kuchh pata nahi hai. I would like to celebrate and say it out loud, but kids today are different. Both of them are private people. Kab kar lenge pata nahi, but hogi zaroor and I wish jaldi ho jaaye because I love them both. Alia is such a lovely girl. I just adore her. She is a beautiful person. Ranbir and Alia are made for each other. They are quite similar. Ranbir is pure-hearted and uncorrupted. He sees things in a positive way. There is no jealousy with anybody or negativity. I see the same quality in her. Both are confident and don’t have bad things to say about anybody — even if somebody’s movie is doing well or is better looking. They complement each other."

Neetu also hopes to have the same relation with Alia Bhatt that she shared with her own mother-in-law. "My relationship with my mother-in-law was outstanding. She loved me more than her son. We were friends. We spoke about everything under the sun, and I would complain about my husband to her. We were very open. I hope I have the same equation with Alia because she is also outstanding and amazing," Neetu said.

Alia's uncle, Robin Bhatt, told IndiaToday.in that the couple's wedding would be a 4-day event. He also mentioned that the shaadi will take place on April 14, while the mehendi will happen on April 13. Robin Bhatt is a writer and father of filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will get married at the latter's Mumbai apartment, Vastu. Their wedding guest list will include family and close friends only. Later this month, Ranbir and Alia are expected to host a starry reception for their industry friends. About their reception guest list, a source shared exclusively with IndiaToday.in, "Ranbir and Alia's wedding reception will be a lavish affair. Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Aditya Roy Kapur, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar have been invited to Ranbir and Alia's reception."

After dating for five years, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have finally decided to take the big step and tie the knot.
