The ministry is yet to announce the official dates for when the NEET PG counselling 2022 would begin.
The NEET PG Counseling 2022 for the postgraduate admission courses has been postponed from the original time span -- September 1 to September 19. As per sources, the NEET PG counseling 2022 is now expected to begin on September 25 for the All India Quota (AIQ) admissions with a larger number of seats.
The ministry has not yet disclosed the new date. This delay in the NEET counselling process will likely have several negative consequences, including giving the young doctors additional stress, and reducing study time for the next back of 2023.
The NEET PG counselling process is usually carried out in March but several factors caused a delay this year that primarily includes Covid-19 and last year’s delayed application.
The number of available seats for NEET counselling is also being gradually increased.
According to Gaurav Tyagi, a medical counselor and founder of Career Xpert, "The session will commence late as the NEET counseling is being delayed. The next batch for 2023 will have less time with even more delay in the process of counseling.”
“The three-year curriculum will be disturbed and the students will panic. This batch of doctors are facing anger issues and disturbed routine. The decision whether the NMC bill will come or not is also hanging," he said.
