NCB records Sameer Wankhede’s statement for a second time in connection with ‘extortion’ charges

A team from the NCB's vigilance department recorded Sameer Wankhede's statement for a second time at the agency's office in New Delhi on Monday.

A team of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials recorded the statement of Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede for a second time on Monday, sources told India Today.

Wankhede, who is facing charges of bribery and extortion, was with officials of the vigilance department for nearly four hours at the drug enforcement agency's office in New Delhi on Monday.
