Naxals release CoBRA jawan kidnapped during Bijapur attack: CRPF sources

According to CRPF sources, CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas who was kidnapped by the Naxals during Bijapur attack on April 3, has been released by them.

CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas who was kidnapped by the Naxals during Bijapur attack on April 3, has been released by them, sources in Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) told India Today TV on Thursday. However, there is no official confirmation on Rakeshwar Singh Manhas's release yet. "Sources have told us that CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh has been released into the custody of Gondwana Samaj chief Dharmpal Saini and some media persons. However, the CRPF does not have official confirmation on this," the CRPF sources said.
