Nakuul Mehta discharged from hospital after surgery, actor says 'only lost the appendix not sense of humour'

Nakuul Mehta has been discharged from a Mumbai hospital after undergoing surgery. The Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 actor took to social media to share his health update.

Nakuul Mehta's fans got worried when they came to know about the actor's hospitalisation. However, the Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 star took to social media to share his health update and wrote that he is 'healing'. Nakuul Mehta underwent surgery for his appendix removal at Sujoy Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. According to the latest reports, the actor is back home and recovering.

According to a report in ETimes, Nakuul Mehta was operated in Mumbai's Sujay Hospital at Juhu. A doctor from the hospital confirmed that he has been discharged. He said, "Yes, Nakuul has been discharged. He will need rest for 5-7 days. He will need to come to change his dressing, though."

On May 3, Nakuul Mehta had shared a statement sharing his health update, and captioned it, "We are healing." His statement read, "To everyone who reached out.. Like Forrest Gump would say.. ’My Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates you never know what you’re gonna get..’ We went from celebration to hospitalisation in a span of 24 hours. The first thing which hit me was..damn, filming is going to be affected but then again can anyone plan life, I’m overwhelmed with all the messages, calls and tweets. It may take me a few days to get to them whilst I regain my strength and pressing need for good coffee.. However, the good news is that we only lost our appendix & hopefully not our sense of humour (sic)."

Nakuul Mehta is currently seen on Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 as Ram Kapoor. Disha Parmar plays the female lead on the the show, produced by Ekta Kapoor. This is the reboot version of the Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar-starrer of the same name.
