Nadda chairs special core committee meeting of T.N. BJP in Chennai
Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare and BJP national president J.P. Nadda on Saturday (May 3, 2025) chaired a special core committee meeting of the Tamil Nadu unit of the party at a private hotel on the outskirts of Chennai.
Mr. Nadda, who was in the city to inaugurate the Sixth International Saiva Siddhantha Conference at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, held discussions with the party’s national co-incharge for Tamil Nadu P. Sudhakar Reddy, State unit president Nainar Nagenthran, and other senior leaders.
In a post on X, Mr. Nadda said: “Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji is steadfast in his commitment to the all-round development of Tamil Nadu, with a special emphasis on preserving and promoting the rich Tamil culture. Every BJP Karyakarta is actively engaged in door-to-door campaigns to spread awareness about the Modi government’s welfare schemes, contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat.”
According to BJP sources who attended the meeting, Mr. Nadda provided inputs on strengthening the party in Tamil Nadu. He urged the BJP leaders to ensure effective coordination among National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners to unseat the DMK from power, sources added.
