Mysterious Oppo phone with 48-megapixel cameras, 5G emerges
India Today
Oppo recently launched two new A-series smartphones in India and both support 5G.
Oppo is apparently working on a new 5G phone. Now, this phone does not have a name yet, but chances are it could belong to the A-series. The phone has surfaced on China’s TENAA certification website along with its specifications. These specifications belong to a phone that may end up costing in the lower mid-range, which is why it is safe to assume Oppo may be planning a new A-series phone. The key specifications of this Oppo phone include a 48-megapixel camera system on the back. On the TENAA website, the Oppo PFGM00 has cropped up with a full range of specifications. This phone has a 6.5-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This display has a punch-hole in the top left corner, inside which an 8-megapixel camera will reside. This phone uses an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz but the name is not specified in the listing. Since this phone is going to have 5G, it is either one of the recent ones from Qualcomm or MediaTek, such as the Snapdragon 480 or Dimensity 700. And facilitating this processor will be 6GB or 8GB of RAM on the phone. In terms of storage, the mysterious Oppo phone will have 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB options, according to TENAA. And in case there is a need for more storage, the phone has a microSD card slot. The phone has Android 11 software, of course, with ColorOS 11.1 on top. And finally, coming to the cameras, the Oppo phone without a name will feature a 48-megapixel main camera, along with two 2-megapixel cameras. The Oppo phone may feature a 4980mAh battery, which is also something the phone’s listing on China’s 3C certification website confirmed. This battery will support 18W fast charging, according to the two listings.More Related News
