A 30-year-old man from Delhi has been arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly duping a youngster of Rs 1.53 lakhs by luring him with Gigolo's job offer.
Mumbai Police arrested a 30-year-old man from Delhi who duped a youngster of Rs 1.53 lakhs by luring him with Gigolo's job offer. Police are also looking out for the women involved in the crime, who spoke to the victim posing as clients.
The complainant, son of a police official, had seen an advertisement on a website which offered a job as a 'Call Boy' and there was a number mentioned with the ad. When the contacted the number, the receiver told him that he will have to entertain the company's clients and would get paid per assignment. The company would keep 20 percent of the amount while the remaining eighty percent would be paid to him, he claimed. Later on, the complainant was given an identity card on WhatsApp and the number of a female client.
