Mumbai: Traffic jam at Eastern Express Highway due to JVLR flyover closure

On Monday afternoon, long queues of vehicles were seen on the routes from Mumbai to Thane and Powai to Thane on the highway as the JVLR flyover was closed due to repair work.

Commuters have been facing massive traffic jams on Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) and Eastern Express Highway as the JVLR flyover has been shut due to repair work since Friday night.

On Monday afternoon too, long queues of vehicles were seen on the routes from Mumbai to Thane and Powai to Thane on the highway and JVLR.

Several motorists were irked and took to Twitter to report the traffic chaos.
