Mumbai court pulls up jail authorities for not taking Sheena Bora murder accused for medical check up

The special CBI court in Mumbai conducting trials in Sheena Bora murder case has pulled up jail authorities for not taking accused for a medical check up despite a court order asking them to do so.

The special court in Mumbai, which has been conducting trials in the Sheena Bora murder case, has pulled up the jail authorities for their lackadaisical approach for not taking the accused, Sanjeev Khanna, to a hospital for a medical check up despite a court order asking them to do so. Calling it a serious matter, the judge said that if something happens to Khanna, then it would be the responsibility of the jail authorities. Khanna, the former husband of INX Media co-founder Indrani Mukerjea, has been lodged at Arthur Road jail in Mumbai since 2015.
