A businessman from Mumbai has allegedly received threatening extortion calls from Fahim Machmach -- a top lieutenant of Chota Shakeel from the Dawood Ibrahim gang. This could be the first such call after a long time when an offence has been registered by the Mumbai crime branch where names of D-gang members like Fahim Machmach and Chota Shakeel have been mentioned. The businessman from Ghatkopar received the calls last week when the caller allegedly identified himself as Fahim Machmach and threatened the businessman with dire consequences if he failed to pay the demanded amount.
