Mouni Roy and Disha Parmar matched their red wedding lehengas with strikingly similar bridal jewellery.
Mouni Roy’s bridal portraits have taken the internet by a storm. The actress looked beyond gorgeous at all her wedding functions. Must we add, she absolutely nailed the bridal fashion game in exquisite outfits, each one different from the other!
The Naagin actress got married to her beau Suraj Nambair in Goa on January 27. They had two wedding ceremonies, as per Malayali and Bengali traditions respectively. For the Bengali shaadi, the Bong beauty frolicked around in a red Sabyasachi lehenga. Adding to her bridal glory were diamond jewels accentuated with emeralds. But did you know, another television actress also embraced the same bridal jewellery for her wedding? Well, it is none other than Disha Parmar.
Both Disha and Mouni Roy opted for red lehengas for their wedding ceremony and styled them with similar jewels. While Mouni rocked a Sabyasachi creation, Disha had embraced a gota-patti lehenga from designer-duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her wedding with Rahul Vaidya last year in July.
Both the divas rocked a strikingly similar diamond and emerald choker with matching earrings from the luxury jewellery brand Anmol Jewellers. However, their head accessories were different. While Mouni donned a matha patti, Disha embraced a maang tikka.
Here’s a closer look:
Mouni Roy's Sabyasachi lehenga came with elaborate panel details and intricate work on the blouse. The ensemble also came with a customised dupatta featuring the words "Ayushmati Bhava" embroidered along the heavy border. She completed her look with dramatic eye makeup and nude lips. The heavy choker and matching earrings went well with the attire, and the matha patti perfectly framed her face.
Disha Parmar's lehenga, on the other hand, featured heavy gota-patti work and peacock motif details. She rocked minimal makeup with nude lips and a dainty bindi. Her jewellery with emerald accents added a pop of colour to her bridal look, and took it a notch higher.
