As per the predictions by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are very likely to experience light to moderate rain on Thursday.
Though Delhi has been experiencing low rainfall since Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate downpour for Haryana and Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The weather department has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in West Bengal. 05/08/2021: 09:45 IST; Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Karnal, Rajaund, Assandh, Safidon, Panipat, Gohana, Gannaur, Sonipat, Jind, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar (Haryana) Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Kandhla, Baraut, Bagpat, Hastinapur, Khatauli, Sakoti Tanda, Daurala, Meerut, Modinagar, Kithor, Garhmukteshwar (U.P.) during next 2 hours.Light intensity rain/drizzle would occur over and adjoining areas of isolated places of Delhi, during next 2 hours. pic.twitter.com/CiwxeQDbxZ Areas such as North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Purba Bardhaman, Paschim Bardhaman, Howrah and Hooghly have been warned against heavy rainfall.
