Mohanlal confirms Drishyam 3 with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has confirmed a third part to his successful Drishyam franchise. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mohanlal shared a picture with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor. He wrote, “The Past Never Stays Silent Drishyam 3 Confirmed!”
Released in 2013, Drishyam was a murder mystery film starring Mohanlal as Georgekutty, an ordinary cable TV provider who gets embroiled in a murder investigation along with his family. The film turned on Georgekutty outsmarting the sharp IG Geetha Prabhakar (Asha Sharath). A sequel, Drishyam 2, set six years after the events of the first film, was released in 2021.
Concurrently, a Hindi franchise with the same title featured Ajay Devgn in the primary role, and was equally celebrated. There were also reports of a Hollywood adaptation of Drishyam.
Mohanlal was last seen in his own directorial, Barroz.

Parvathi Nayar’s new exhibition, The Primordial, in Mumbai, traces oceans, pepper and climate change
Opened on March 12, the exhibition marks the artist’s first solo show in Mumbai in nearly two decades. Known for her intricate graphite drawings and multidisciplinary practice spanning installation, photography, video, and climate change, her artistic journey has long engaged with the themes of ecology, climate change and the natural world. In this ongoing exhibition, these strands converge through a series of works centred on water, salt, and pepper — materials that carry natural and historic weight across centuries.
