Doha: The Ministry of Culture has launched the International Arabic Calligraphy Competition, ‘Al-Akhlaq Award’, set to take place at the Rosewood Hotel in Doha from September 1 to 8. The event will conclude at the Ministry’s new headquarters on September 9. The award will be accompanied by a comprehensive cultural programme designed to showcase the timeless beauty of Arabic calligraphy and explore its profound role in promoting human values. The programme will feature a distinguished group of experts, artists, and calligraphers from Qatar and around the world. The award is part of the Ministry of Culture’s ongoing efforts to revive Arab and Islamic arts on the global stage.
