Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reassured the public that healthcare services across the country continue without interruption, with the main healthcare providers including the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), Sidra Medicine, and private healthcare facilities offering a full range of emergency and routine services during the prevailing exceptional situation.
“The health sector is at your service. May you remain safe and well,” MoPH said in a social media campaign featuring healthcare leaders yesterday.
Residents speaking to The Peninsula have expressed appreciation for the uninterrupted services. “I had an outpatient appointment this week at HMC, and everything went smoothly. The staff were well organised, and I felt reassured seeing services running as usual,” said Grace, a Doha resident. Another resident, who recently used the medication delivery service, highlighted its convenience. “I reordered my prescription through the app, and it was delivered to my home on time as usual.”
Mahmudeen, a resident who receives medical care from a private hospital for a chronic condition, said, “I visit the hospital weekly for follow-up appointments, and my schedule has continued without any interruption.”
Amal, a mother of two, shared her experience using Paediatric Emergency Center Hotline. “My son developed an ear-ache in the evening, and I called the Pediatric Emergency Center Hotline. The doctors attended promptly, and we were guided clearly throughout. It gave us great comfort during this time.”
