Minister urges entrepreneurs to set up industries in Raichur

Minister N.S. Boseraju encourages entrepreneurs to establish industries in Raichur, highlighting available government support and resources.
Minister for Minor Irrigation, Science and Technology N.S. Boseraju has appealed to entrepreneurs to set up industries in Raichur district using the facilities that are being extended to them by the Union and State governments.
He was speaking after inaugurating Tejas workshop being jointly organised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade of the Union government, Start-up India Scheme and the Raichur district administration at the Jagajyoti Basaveshwara Auditorium on University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) campus in Raichur on Thursday.
The prime aim of organizing such a workshop for the first time in the district is to encourage new entrepreneurs, particularly locals, he said.
Stating that work on a new airport will soon be completed to extend flight services to the people of Raichur to ensure better connectivity, the Minister said that the district has the potential for the establishment of industries as it has two major rivers, the Tungabhadra and the Krishna, and good rail and road connectivity to major cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Hubballi and others.
He also appealed to young entrepreneurs to come forward to set up industries there.
Deputy Commissioner Nitish K. said that the district administration has made all arrangements to provide free training for entrepreneurs to get Start-up India information.
