A source close to Mika Di Vohti spoke to IndianExpress.com and shared Mika chose Akanksha as his wife because she knows him the best. "While Mika did not marry Akanksha on the stage, he put the wedding garland on her to signify his choice. He shared that he wants to spend quality time with her away from the cameras before they take the nuptial vows. Mika also met Akanksha’s family and sought their blessing as he decided to embark on this new journey with her,” said the source.
Star Bharat’s Swayamvar - Mika Di Vohti premiered on June 19. The show recently introduced Akanksha Puri as the new wildcard contestant. The actress has been Mika's friend for over 10 years now. In the recent episode of Mika Di Vohti, Akanksha was seen being emotional as she expressed her feelings whole-heartedly. She said that she would never want to let go of Mika.
