On being denied money for alcohol, some men allegedly hurled bombs at women who were sitting outside a Durga Puja pandal in West Bengal's Durgapur on Saturday.
On being denied money for alcohol, some men allegedly hurled bombs at women and vandalised vehicles outside a temple premise where Durga Puja was held in West Bengal's Durgapur. Large numbers of police personnel were deployed in the area to bring the situation under control.
The incident took place in Durgapur's Annapurna Nagar after immersion of Durga idol on Saturday evening. Locals allege that three men had demanded money for drinking alcohol from local youths.
