Meera Jasmine joins Mohanlal in L 366, character poster unveiled

Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine reunite on screen in the upcoming film L 366. The movie marks Mohanlal's return as a cop and strengthens his collaboration with director Tharun Moorthy.

After collaborating in Rasathanthram, Innathe Chinthavishayam and Ladies and Gentleman, and following her cameo in his film Hridayapoorvam last year, Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine are set to share the screen again in Mohanlal’s tentatively titled film L 366.

The makers recently unveiled Meera Jasmine’s character poster as Naisy, coinciding with the actor’s birthday. In the film, Naisy is reportedly the wife of Mohanlal’s character, T S Lovelajan. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, L 366 marks the filmmaker’s second collaboration with Mohanlal following the success of Thudarum.

The film is produced by Ashiq Usman under his banner, with the script written by Ratheesh Ravi, known for films such as Pullikkaran Staraa, Ishq, Adi and Maharani.

Mohanlal’s first look from the film, released earlier, featured him in a khaki police uniform as Lovelajan, marking his return to a cop role after a gap. On the technical front, Tharun has retained key members of his Thudarum team, including cinematographer Shaji Kumar, music director Jakes Bejoy and sound designer Vishnu Govind, with Vivek Harshan joining as editor.

Meera Jasmine returned to a full-length role with Queen Elizabeth in 2023 after a long gap, following a phase marked by cameo appearances. Her most recent feature appearance was in the Tamil film Test, alongside Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is also set to appear in the Mammootty-starrer Patriot, scheduled for release on April 23, 2026. The actor has also announced a new project tentatively titled L 367, marking the 367th film of his career. The film will be directed by Vishnu Mohan, best known for Meppadiyan, bringing together the veteran star and the filmmaker for a fresh collaboration.
