Two people were arrested with MDMA drugs worth Rs 2.5 crore at the Aluva railway station in Kerala.
In a worrisome trend, Kochi has been seeing a massive spike in the seizure of ganja and synthetic drugs. The sheer volume of the contraband seized reflects the gravity of the situation and it has become a matter of grave concern for Kerala police officials.
In another big haul, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, popularly known as Ecstasy or MDMA, worth nearly Rs 2.5 crores was seized from two people who reached Aluva police station from Bengaluru on Sunday morning.
