Masaba Gupta took to Instagram and wished her father Vivian Richards on his 70th birthday with a heartfelt note.

Masaba Gupta, daughter of actress Neena Gupta and cricketer Vivian Richards, took to Instagram to wish her papa on his 70th birthday. She posted an endearing photograph from her childhood and shared it with a heartfelt note.

“I’d like to think I’ve picked up some of the most powerful qualities from my parents. My father is unrelenting, focused, has lived his life in the pursuit of greatness, defied the odds, turned around his fate and spent his whole life to become a mental & physical force to reckon with,” she wrote in the post.

‘All you got is yourself ’ - I cannot explain how true this last line is & I see it come to life every single day as I set out in my pursuit to be even half as great as you - mentally & physically. Happy 70th birthday papa,” she added.

The photo that Masaba Gupta shared showed her sitting right next to her father and sporting a rather hilarious expression. In the picture, the father-daughter duo had their faces in the opposite directions. She had first shared this photo on the gram in November 2019 with a witty caption.

Actress Neena Gupta, was in a relationship with the former West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards. They became parents to Masaba in 1989. The actress chose to raise her daughter as a single mother in India, with the help of her father. She got married to Vivek Mehra at the age of 48.

Masaba, on the other hand, is an established fashion designer. In 2020, she was seen in the Netflix series Masaba Masaba, in which she played herself. The second season of the series will be released soon. It went on floors last year in July.
