
Maruti Suzuki India's domestic wholesales rise 141 per cent in June 2021

Maruti Suzuki India's overall wholesales (domestic + other OEMs + export) stood at 1,47,368 units in June 2021.
Maruti Suzuki India today reported a growth of 141.29 per cent in domestic wholesales to 1,26,196 units in June 2021. The country's largest carmaker had sold 52,300 units in the domestic market in June 2020. In June 2021, the mini segment (Alto and S-Presso) witnessed sales of 17,439 units, the compact segment (WagonR, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Tour S, Ignis and Baleno) of 68,849 units, the mid-size segment (Ciaz) of 602 units, the utility vehicles segment (Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, Gypsy, XL6 and S-Cross) of 28,172 units and the vans segment (Eeco) of 9,218 units. The light commercial vehicle segment (Super Carry) garnered sales of 1,916 units during the month.
