Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine denied he cheated on his pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo. He shared a long note on his Instagram story soon after Instagram influencer, Sumner Stroh, claimed he had a year-long affair with her.

Maroon 5 lead vocalist Adam Levine issued a statement soon after an Instagram influencer, Sumner Stroh, claimed he had a year-long affair with her. Levine, accused of cheating on his wife Behati Prinsloo, shared a long note where he denied the claims. However, he mentioned that he “crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life”.

"A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life,” he wrote on his Instagram story.

“In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family is all I care about in this world," he continued. "To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together,” he added.

Levine’s statement comes after model Sumner Stroh released a TikTok video alleging that she and the Maroon 5 singer were having an affair. However, she did not specify the time period.

"I was having an affair with a man who’s married to Victoria’s Secret model. At the time, I was young, I was naive, and, I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited," Sumner said in the video.

The video was released a week after Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo, who is Victoria's Secret model, announced they are expecting their third child. The couple has been married since 2014 and they have two daughters.
