INDIA HITS CENTURY IN UNICORNS
On the 5th of this month (May), the number of Unicorns in India reached the 100 mark. Once Unicorn means a start-up of at least Rs 7,500 crore turnover. Total valuation of these Unicorns is $330 billion, that is over Rs 25 lakh crore. Of these, 44 unicorns were formed only last year while 14 unicorns were formed in the last 3-4 months. This means that even during the global pandemic, our start-ups continued to create wealth and value. The world of start-ups reflects the spirit of new India.
