Manipur ambush | Rifleman Suman Swargiary's body reaches Guwahati

Swargiary was among seven people, including the wife and 8-year-old son of the commanding officer of an Assam Rifles unit who were killed in an ambush in Manipur's Churachandpur district on Saturday.
The mortal remains of Rifleman Suman Swargiary, who was killed in an ambush by militants in Manipur’s Singhat on Saturday, reached the Guwahati airport on Monday, November 15. The body will now be taken to his native place in Assam's Baksa district.
Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, senior police personnel, and administration officials paid tributes to the mortal remains of the martyred soldier at Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport.
