Directors Mani Ratnam and Shankar have joined hands to start a new production house, Rain On Films Private Limited. Along with 10 renowned directors of Tamil cinema, this production house will produce films and web series for several OTT platforms.

Mani Ratnam, who recently produced Navarasa on Netflix with Jayendra Panchapakesan, has joined hands with director Shankar to start a new production house, Rain On Films Private Limited. Along with Mani Ratnam and Shankar, 10 more renowned directors of Tamil cinema have been brought on board to be a part of the production house that will produce films and web series for various OTT platforms.
