Spencer Elden, whose baby portrait was used as the album cover for Nirvana's Nevermind, has sued the band claiming that he was sexually exploited as a child. The cover featured four-month-old Elden underwater trying to get hold of a dollar bill that’s hanging from a fishing rod. “Defendants intentionally commercially marketed Spencer’s child pornography and leveraged the shocking nature of his image to promote themselves and their music at his expense,” lawsuit obtained by Variety read.
