Man stabs family members to death in Alluri Sitharama Raju district, accused in custody, police investigation ongoing.

A man stabbed his family members to death with a sharp weapon in Alluri Sitharama Raju district on Monday (May 12, 2025)

The accused has been identified as Gennu, a resident of Chintapalli tribal village in GK Veedhi mandal of the district. The deceased have been identified as Kimudu Raju and Kimudu Krishna. The accused is the brother-in-law of the deceased, while their sister is married to the accused.

According to the police, the accused Gennu used to have frequent fights with his wife. On Monday (May 12), he had a fight with his wife. As soon it had come to the notice of her brothers, the brothers Raju and Krishna went to Gennu’s house to resolve the disputes between the wife and husband.

This resulted in a fight between Gennu and the wife’s brothers. Eventually, Gennu allegedly killed his two brothers-in-law with a weapon.

Another person Chinna Raju who tried to stop the fight was also injured.

The bodies were shifted to Sileru Hospital for post-mortem. The injured person is undergoing treatment at KGH in Visakhapatnam.

Police said a case has been registered and the police investigation is ongoing. The accused Gennu, has been reportedly taken into custody.
