Man dies by suicide by jumping before metro at Delhi’s Tilak Nagar station

An elderly man died by suicide by jumping in front of the metro train at Tilak Nagar metro station, Delhi, on Friday.

A 62-year-old man died by suicide by jumping in front of the metro train on platform number one of Tilak Nagar metro station, Delhi, on Friday.

The deceased, identified as Surendra Kalia, was reportedly under depression.

The police removed the body from the track and sent it to Deendayal Hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
