West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party leader Suvendu Adhikari took all party MLAs to watch 'The Kashmir Files' movie on Tuesday. Adhikari emphasised 'all Indians should watch this movie'.
When asked if Mamata Banerjee should declare it tax free, he said, "Mamata Banerjee will not declare it tax free, ever."
The movie has been made tax free in several states, like Goa, Gujarat, Haryana and Tripura. The movie has been exempted from paying tax in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh as well.
The Kashmir Files is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and it received a massive opening at the box office on the day of its release on Friday. With Anupam Kher in the lead, this film highlights the atrocities faced by the Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s.

The film outlines the brutalities endured by the Kashmiri Pandits when they were killed, persecuted and forced to leave their homes overnight.
The movie has received a massive push from the Centre and states and also got Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nod when the makers met him on Saturday.
