Mallika Sherawat on being called sex symbol: Kaise change kare iss image ko?

Mallika Sherawat has reacted to being called a sex symbol. The actress said she doesn't pay attention to it.

Mallika Sherawat was recently seen in RK/RKay. The actress shuffles between the US and India for work and she is pretty fine with it. However, the actress is very away from the rat race of Bollywood. In a new interview, Mallika Sherawat mentioned that she is an honest person and she has sometimes got into trouble because of that. Having said that, the actress even reacted to getting the tag of sex symbol.

For those unaware, Mallika Sherawat is touted as a sex symbol on Wikipedia. To this, the actress told Hindustan Times, "Mujhe pata bhi nahi likhta kaun hai yeh! Do people take Wikipedia seriously? I don’t. Abhi kya karein, change kaise karein iss image ko. I don’t even know how. I don’t pay attention to it. However people want to perceive me, it’s their attitude. I just have to focus on what I am doing."

The actress further mentioned that she doesn't like social media. "I hate it. I am not on the internet, I feel there is so much negativity out there. I don’t want to subject myself to someone else’s opinion of me," added Mallika.

Mallika Sherawat rose to fame with her character in Murder. The actress later went on to feature in several Hindi films, including Bachke Rehna Re Baba, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Shaadi Se Pehle, Darna Zaroori Hai, Ugly Aur Pagli, and more. Prior to the release of RK/RKay, Mallika was seen in Booo Sabki Phategi.
